Jellyfish Cave
A lightless cavern adrift with floating jellyfish that hunt by the stir of the air.
Beneath the town the ground opens into a vast dark cavern where Moon o' War drift on the still air. They cannot see, but they feel motion. Move too fast or too close and they creep toward you to drain your light. Crossing the cave is an exercise in stillness: time your steps, hold your breath, let them pass.
In the lightless deep Moonhead learns to absorb and illuminate: to draw in what little light remains and give it back. By reflecting this light off Astralite crystals, Moonhead can illuminate hard-to-reach nodes and open paths around corners. Deep in these caves, Moonhead also meets Claro the Glass-Shrimp, whose refractive crystal shell focuses the glow into a long-range Prism Beam that is key to solving the deep cave puzzles.
