White Reef

A silent basin of salt flats, dead coral reefs, and vertical kelp standing in the violet mist.

Once a vibrant shallow sea, White Reef is now a silent silt basin. The sea has retreated, leaving behind cracked mud coated in a glittering crust of salt and stagnant brine pools. Bone-white dead reefs tower over the flats, their bases glowing with veins of Vael. Giant, vertical silt-kelp stalks stand on their own, catching the low-lying violet brine-mist. In the low basins, they grow into dense kelp forests that block out the night sky.
